Brock tells us there are many awkward and strange ways to kill a man. His last paragraph “Simpler, direct, and much more neat is to see that he is living somewhere in the middle of the twentieth century, and leave him there” is telling us that the way we are living in modern society is unfair, ambiguous and unhealthy. One example that is relevant to my argument “In an age of aeroplanes, you may fly miles above your victim and dispose of him by pressing one small switch.” This telling us that it is now easy to kill a man by, for example, pulling A trigger of A gun on A person’s head can kill A man. It is also telling us that as technology advances, there will always be pros and cons. As I said, the way we are living in modern society is unfair, ambiguous and unhealthy. It is now so easy to kill someone due to technology.
